Our Story

We don't build houses.
We shape shelter from the earth.

Maroc Dome Eco began with a conviction: that a home can be beautiful, durable and gentle on the planet at once. From a single dome in the dunes to entire eco-retreats, we build with what the land already offers — earth, sun and time.

01

Superadobe savoir-faire

Earth-filled bags coiled into load-bearing domes — a technique refined by Nader Khalili, mastered for the Moroccan climate.

02

Built for the desert

Thick earthen walls buffer heat by day and release warmth by night, so comfort comes from the architecture, not the air-conditioning.

03

A quieter kind of luxury

Hand-applied tadelakt, arched openings and natural light — every surface is finished by artisans, never mass-produced.

Our Method

From a bag of earth to a standing dome.

The Superadobe process is deceptively simple and remarkably strong. Follow it, step by step — the same sequence behind every home we deliver.

Foundation & layout01

Foundation & layout

We trace the dome geometry on the cleared site and lay a rubble-trench foundation — stable, drained and cement-free.

Coiling the earthbags02

Coiling the earthbags

Polypropylene bags are filled with stabilised earth and coiled course by course, each row tamped solid and locked with barbed wire.

Raising the dome03

Raising the dome

Corbelling inward, the walls curve into a self-supporting dome. Openings are framed as the structure rises.

Rendering & tadelakt04

Rendering & tadelakt

Lime plaster and polished tadelakt seal the shell — breathable, waterproof and unmistakably Moroccan.

Why Choose Us

A home that gives back more than it takes.

Comfort without machines

Earthen mass keeps interiors cool in summer and warm in winter, cutting cooling costs dramatically.

Genuinely ecological

Local earth, minimal cement and a low-carbon build — the material is quite literally the ground beneath you.

Built to endure

Monolithic domes are inherently resistant to seismic movement, fire and time.

Honest value

Fewer imported materials and faster shells mean a premium home without a premium-only budget.

The materials, honestly

No mystery composites. Just earth, held in place by two humble materials.

Polypropylene bags

Polypropylene bags

The mould that becomes the wall — filled with stabilised earth on site.

Barbed wire

Barbed wire

The mortar of the dome — it grips each course together as it rises.
